Surprisingly there aren’t many of these kinds of books on my shelves, which is a travesty in my opinion. Give me more! I’ll read any book if it has to deal with Pirates, Mermaids/Sirens.
Who didn’t want to be a mermaid or a pirate as a young kid? I’m a sucker for Pirates of the Caribbean and The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan – I can’t think of others, but there is probably some slipping my brain.
There are a few of these kinds of books on my shelves that I haven’t had a chance to read yet, and I did just buy another one this weekend, but I hope to get to them soon. Each of these book’s I’m about to list, I’ve loved and couldn’t put down until I finished them. Three of them I’ve listened to on Audible and loved. I’m also counting a specific duology as 1 book for the sake of this post.

Daughter of the Pirate King / Daughter of the Siren Queen – Tricia Levenseller

I listened to these on Audible and absolutely loved them! Easily two of my favorite 2018 reads!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve actually read this, but I remember absolutely loving it, but I think I’m going to have to re-read before diving into book 2!
To Kill A Kingdom – Alexandra Christo

This was another Audible read and I LOVED it! If you haven’t read this yet, you need to!
Of Poseidon – Anna Banks
Galen is the prince of the Syrena, sent to land to find a girl he’s heard can communicate with fish. Emma is on vacation at the beach. When she runs into Galen—literally, ouch!—both teens sense a connection. But it will take several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, for Galen to be convinced of Emma’s gifts. Now, if he can only convince Emma that she holds the key to his kingdom…
This is another one that’s been sitting on my shelf for awhile having initially read it years ago, but I remember the trilogy being some of my most anticipated reads at the time!
Unhooked – Lisa Maxwell

I didn’t put this book down until I finished it. I remember staying up all night to read this!
