As I’m writing this, it’s still 2019 and I’ve somehow managed to read 102 books. I’ve read a lot of books this year and having to narrow down that list to create this one – well, it wasn’t an easy task. Thinking back 12 months, trying to remember everything I read, I thought it was going to take ages. Surprisingly it didn’t. These books actually came to the front of my mind pretty easily, but that hard part I mentioned earlier – yeah, that’s because there were about 15 other books on this list before I narrowed it down.
I kind of read across the board in 2020, which I loved. I loved that I was able to get through books that had been sitting on my shelves for a while – even though none of those are reflected on this list. I was able to support authors during their release weeks as well as help promote some future releases.
I was able to do so much in 2020 in regard to books, and I’m super grateful for it. I started 2019 with the *reading* goal to read more, more books, more backlist titles and review them. I did that. I feel like I successfully completed that goal and it feels amazing. I got to do so many things in relation to books this year – Apollycon, Book Signings, Book Launches, ALA, Netgalley more signings and it’s been so much fun. I’ve found some new authors to love and new books to enjoy – what more can I ask for?
I’ve already started accumulating a list of 2020 releases, and I’m stoked. I can’t wait to read these books, but before we jump ahead to the next decade, let’s take a look at so Fave Reads of 2019 were. I’ve listed these in release order, but I doubt I could pick one over another as my top read. Each book listed has a full review, which I’ll link.
