Someone needs to come take my fucking wallet away from me. I knew I had a lot of physical copies, but jfc, the eBooks, the eARCs…the freaking audiobooks…
Yell at me if you see me tweeting about buying books. Don’t let me do it.
I just got Midnight Sun from the library and I’m only a few pages in but I think I already like Edward’s POV better than Bella’s. He is a little angsty despite being way older than the teenager he is pretending to be but so far not bad.

August- technically that consists of five books.
Finally finished Anna Karenina- owned that book for a few years now. Not the biggest fan
Started and finished the entire Shades of Magic series- already owned the first one for quite a while now. I actually had to buy the other two this year.
My last book of August was Bleak House- still in the middle of reading it.
Some of the books I will be reading in the future I already own: Hard Times, Kidnapped, Gulliver’s Travels, Secret Garden and three musical theatre books (well, that’s not all of them- I have War and Peace). There are still some I need to buy: I do need to buy Little Women and A Little Princess are two of them. Really want to reread Narnia and Harry Potter. Thinking of rereading, I might reread Spinning Silver to write a review.
There are two places I love going to if I have not idea what to get: Park Road Parks is really good at recommending books: this is located in my hometown of Charlotte. Malaprops in Asheville literally has a “blind date” section: the book are wrapped up in brown paper and all you see are adjectives: You choose the book based on the adjectives.

Whoa, those are some classic reads! Props!
It’s always good to read those already owned books! I’ve been trying to do that more and more, and limit my book buying…lol (i def didn’t limit myself in August, oops).
I need a HP reread, but that’s set for sometime in the future, and I’d probs do the audiobooks.
Recently, I’ve been buying a lot of books based on ads and covers – but I love the idea a “blind date with a book”!
