I am and I am not shocked that it’s the end of another month. I know time feels shorter because it’s relative to age and how you perceive it, but damn if 2020 isn’t a freaking time warp.
I haven’t physically read many books this month – with work occupying like 60% of my time, and Codigo occupying like 35% of my time, it leaves very little time for me.
And quite honestly, I hate it.
These days, if it’s not an audiobook, or an eARC I have some kind of commitment (other than just reviewing it) I rarely touch a physical book, or even an eCopy. Y’all. That’s how I destress, and I’ve barely been able to do that so I’m in a fantastic place right now lol.
I digress…like always, so let’s take a look at what I’m currently reading and watching.
READING:
Spring (Evermore Academy #2) – Audrey Grey
I’m listening to this on audio while at work – I’ll probably end up finishing it today (the day you’re reading this). I’m a fan of Audrey’s books, and this series fits into exactly what I want to read right now. So, I’m pretty happy. It did take me a minute to get back invested in the book, because I remembered almost nothing from the first book – at least not at first. Slowly things started trickling back into my mind. In all fairness, I read the first book months ago, and legit binge read it all night, practically inhaling it.
Seven Crowns (Bellaton #1) – E.V. Everest
I just started this last night so I’m really not far enough into it to judge it too much. So far, it’s good and it sounds exactly something I would like, so I’m looking forward to reading it! I’m so grateful the author reached out and provided a copy in exchange for an honest review.
WATCHING:
Fear the Walking Dead (Live TV):
Now that it’s back on, we’re sucked back in. Somehow, Fear became the best TWD show currently airing. My parents watch these shows with me, and they agree that it’s currently the better show. Sorry Daryl, but it’s true. I’m really enjoying it, and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next. Morgan is out for blood. It’s fantastic.
The Walking Dead: The World Beyond (Live TV):
Really the only reason we watching this is because it comes on right after Fear. I get what this show is supposed to be, but the acting is kind of terrible and for the most part the main characters are dumb. I’m waiting for them to die, because there’s no way they’re al surviving.
Hallmark Christmas/Holiday Movies:
Do I really need to explain this one? It might be a tad early for Christmas/Holiday Movies, but they’re so nice to fall asleep to, and I’ve been waiting all year to be able to do that.
