So, I don’t think I did too badly in the “not buying an excessive number of books” last month. It wasn’t really a goal, and my mentality has been “you’re working hell overtime, treat yo self” but I still managed to haul a nice number of books – across multiple formats.
Most of the physical books were ones I’d pre-ordered a while ago, and I got quite a few anticipated ARCs, and a handful of eBooks.
I’m really excited for a bunch of these, and I’m really hoping work dies down just a little bit (at least to the point where I don’t have to stay late every single day) so I can actually get to some of them.
At this point, I need to read some physical books. I need to destress. My fingers are crossed!
While I’m waiting to see if work is going to be nice to me, let’s jump in and see what I hauled last month.

Okay. So. I was wrong about not going overboard this month. I didn’t even include all the audiobooks, since all but ONE are duplicates of physical books I already own. I really need to lay off the One-Click buys, but I think the eARCs are what did me in last month. I don’t know how I managed to accumulate that many. Don’t get me wrong – I’m super grateful, but omfg.
So, yeah. These are all the books I hauled in October…maybe next month I’ll actually be better.
My, my that’s a lot of books😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
