I was going to wait and post this next week, but to be perfectly honest, I’m impatient. I couldn’t wait to show you these books. Initially, what drew me in for each of these books were their covers. I mean, how can you not want to click on any of these to see what they’re about?
My TBR must be a million books long by now, but I’m so tempted to drop everything I’m currently doing to read these.
Alas, I can’t just drop my job to do just that. How else would I be able to buy books? lol
I’ve already pre-ordered my copy of Born at Dawn and I need to order the other two books on this list.
Let me know in the comments if you’ve read any of these, or if you’re now going to add them to your never ending TBR!

Born at Dawn (Da/Valia Trilogy #1)
Author: Christina Davis
Pub. Date: November 15, 2020
In a world of secrets, the one she never expected is the one that will change her life forever.
When a heist goes terribly wrong and the binding spell holding 17-year-old Neva’s powers at bay is shattered, the half-human thief knows she’s in trouble.
Neva has always hidden her Da’Valian heritage while working risky jobs to make a name for herself and serving at her family’s tavern, but she won’t be able to hide much longer. She can either risk the safety of those she cares about or seek out her mother’s people to gain control over her emerging powers.
The Da’Valia are beautiful, brutal creatures created by the god of war, and the austere Da’Valian soldier Astiand reluctantly agrees to take Neva to his clan under his protection. She makes unexpected friends, including the handsome fighter Emiliand, and a new enemy in the clan’s ruthless leader.
Spying on her guardian, the sly heroine quickly discovers just how deep she has stumbled into a dangerous, developing clan feud.
Will she be able to embrace who she is in time to keep her loved ones safe?

Feather (Angels of Elysium #1)
Author: Olivia Wildenstein
Pub. Date: January 16, 2020
It was supposed to be a quick mission. The only thing quick about it was how rapidly I failed.
With only a month left to earn her missing feathers, twenty-year-old Leigh embarks on a trip to Paris to meet her newest project, twenty-five-year-old Jarod Adler, leader of the Parisian Mafia and the worst kind of sinner . . . a Triple.
If Leigh can get Jarod to accomplish a single act of kindness, she stands to win 100 feathers, more than enough to complete her wings and ascend to Elysium, the land of angels.
What she doesn’t count on is Jarod’s dark charm costing her feathers.
She’s dead set on saving him, and he’s dead set on destroying her.
Until he realizes destroying her wings is also destroying her heart.
A heart he longs to hear beat only for him.

Of Dreams and Sorcery (Royal Fae Guardians #1)
Author: Heather Renee
Pub. Date: April 26, 2020
When a talking owl tells Kali she’s more than just an average eighteen-year-old, her mind is convinced she’s gone crazy. Once she finally accepts his words as truth, she spends an entire year conditioning her body for all that is to come on her next birthday. Except, when the day arrives, she realizes her little friend left a few things out…
Kali is the first descendant in decades to be born from two royal fae lines, but being special isn’t always a good thing. Even though she’s been training for the last year, Kali’s ill-prepared to face the threats headed her way, and she’ll need someone to show her how best to defend herself.
That’s when Callen steps in, and once again, nothing is as it seems. Even though something about him draws her in, they butt heads at every opportunity. With Kali’s future on the line, she does her best to concede to the changes in her new life, but being the hero Arvayta wants her to be isn’t as easy it sounds.
Of Dreams and Sorcery sounds so good! Definitely going to check it out. 🙂
