3 Books That Hit My Radar Pt. 10

I know, I know. I just posted one of these.

It must be because of the holiday season, but the ads are out in legit droves and between the covers of these books and the synopsis’ I had to share them. Tell social media to stop showing me ads to amazing sounding books, and these posts will be less frequent.

I’ve already added these books to my cart – I haven’t decided if I want to go eBook or physical, which is the only reason I haven’t purchased them yet. Part of me says, save the shelf space, you bought an expensive Kindle so use it and the other part of me just turns into a goblin saying “preeeeettttyyyy” – basically Gollum.

I just recently re-watched The Hobbit and you know what, Gollum is actually fucking terrifying and that scene where he’s going on and on about the things he eats…would it be considered cannibalism if he ate goblins and other creatures, or only if he eats other Hobbits? Or are other creatures akin to chicken or beef, so fair game?

Okay, wow, that was a sidetrack, but I am curious.

Anyways, you’re getting another one of these posts and I hope you check them out. So, let’s dive in.

The Devil’s Heart (Dark Tides #1) – Candace Osmond

Find the witch. Return to the future. Don’t fall in love with the devil…

When Dianna Cobham accidentally breaks an enchanted ship-in-a-bottle she’s washed away to 1707 Newfoundland and taken prisoner aboard a pirate ship captained by the infamous Devil Eyed Barrett. Dianna fights to survive by proving herself indispensable to the crew, all the while forging a secret plan to get back home.

But when Dianna learns of the Devil’s vengeful mission to seek and kill her ancestors, her hopes for returning to the future transform into an elaborate plot to save her lineage. Can she charm the Devil’s heart and change his mind before it’s too late? Or will she sacrifice herself to save the man hidden underneath it all?

A Storm of Silver and Ash (The Oncoming Storm #1) – Marion Blackwood

What would you sacrifice to save your friend?
Your soul? Your humanity? Your life?

The Oncoming Storm is a name whispered in awe throughout the Underworld. She’s known as a master thief and a lethal knife-wielder – some even say she has the skills of an assassin. All of it is true. She’s also a sarcastic smartmouth with the social graces of a bull.

You will find her running across rooftops, sneaking in the shadows, and breaking into houses. That is, if she’s not busy getting ambushed and blackmailed into a seemingly impossible mission. Grudgingly caught in a dangerous power struggle, the Oncoming Storm must leave behind the world she knows and maneuver through scheming assassins, calculating elves, and desperate royals.

Before her adventure is over, she will have loved, saved, killed, and double-crossed those around her. The only question is, who? The clock is ticking, and before time runs out, the Oncoming Storm must decide who to trust and who to betray…

The Broken and the Sinned (Everlasting Curse #1) – G. Bailey

There is no place for love in a world of vampires who own your soul.

On Riona Dark’s eighteenth birthday, being kidnapped by strangers in the night was not the surprise party she was expecting.
Riona is taken to the hidden world of vampires, a remote island called The Onyx, where being human means you are less than nothing. Riona is soon locked up with other humans and finds out that she will be sold at The Auction.

When two vampire princes, with dark eyes and even darker souls, come to view her and the others, Riona knows the vampires here are just as dangerous as they are gorgeous.
Once sold, Riona is told that her life belongs to the vampires that own her. They will own her soul, mind and body. Resisting means only death.

Riona won’t be sold without a fight, and the only power in The Onyx is blood, desire…and death.

Yeah, I might just have to get physical copies lol 🙈

Let me know if you check out any of these books, or if you’ve read them!
