Well, it’s December 23rd so consider this a last-minute recommendation post featuring some books you could buy the avid reader in your life.
I initially had another post planned, but there just weren’t enough hours in the day yesterday and by the time I sat down to do blog post, I could barely stay awake.
But that’s okay! Because these books caught my eye and I felt the need to share them with you. I’m also thinking about doing a Giveaway where I gift a handful of people an e-book off any one of these radar posts. So, let me know if that’s something that might interest you and stay tuned. It’s the season of giving and I’ve been wanting to do a Giveaway for a while now, and I can’t think of anything better than gifting copies of some of these books!
With all that being said, let’s check out these books!

Gems of Fire – Diane E. Samson
Palace of Sunderland. Paradise to the peasants. Prison to sixteen-year-old Anna, daughter of the king. She can never escape the castle’s cold walls and scorning disapproval of her father and his brute royal counsel, Seamus. She’ll always live in the shadow of her late mother, the queen. Will they ever see her for who she really is?
A riding accident lands Anna in the hands of traders who sell her as a slave in distant Kasdod to none other than her father’s enemy, Lord Anwar. After overhearing a dangerous plot to conquer Sunderland and kill the royal family, Anna must escape and warn her father, even if it means facing her greatest enemy.
With the doom looming over her, Anna is approached by a dangerous man in the dark. He claims to want to help her, but can she trust him with her secrets? The perils of the journey ahead will push Anna to the limit and answer the one question that has always plagued her…
Will she ever be enough?

Seraphin (Tales of Intetra #1) – Kristen Forrester
Sapharine has many secrets.
A century-long war has forced the Kingdom of Intetra’s princess to conceal both her gender and terrifying ability to control the wind. But neither can be kept hidden for long when she is known as the kingdom’s greatest weapon: Seraphin.
When the Intetran king mysteriously dies, Sapharine’s sole mission becomes finding her brother’s killer and avenging his death.
But what will she choose when the rules of the war change, and her greatest enemy turns out to be her biggest defender?
Fantasy fans will be captivated by Sapharine’s world, where adventure, intrigue, supernatural elements and romance collide.

Crowned (Trials of the Crowned Sisterhood) – C. Penticoff
Twenty are chosen. Only one will survive.
Livelyn thought she was safe. There wasn’t supposed to be another Crown Trials for years. With the age limit dropping to sixteen years old, could she be eligible?
In Guntheria, witchcraft is banned. The only religion is Guntherianism and everyone is forced to practice. But forced spiritual practice and awaiting recruitment announcements are not Livelyn’s only problems…
She has a secret. One that would earn her a beheading by the King himself if discovered. She must keep this hidden no matter the cost.
A cruel and shallow competition. A revolt against tyranny. One girl’s duty to be a hero for a torn nation.
Can Livelyn escape recruitment and get a grip on her powerful discovery?
These sound good! My TBR has grown so much because of these posts 😂
I don’t think anyone will oppose a giveaway for a book on one of these posts😁
