And just like that, February is almost over. It’s been exhausting honestly. Having acquired a new position at work – I’m tired all of the time. I was also been dealing with the looming knowledge that I was going to lose another dog and that stressed me out. So, needless to say, I’ve been inhaling stories in various formats this month like they were candy. Anything to take my mind off of life at large.

Prisoner (The Scarred Mage of Roseward #2) – Sylvia Mercedes

I’m doing the audiobook for this and I’m enjoying it. It’s definitely better than the first book. This wasn’t on my TBR to read – at least not any time soon, but especially this week, I just needed something somewhat mindless, that I knew I would enjoy. This is the second book in a Beauty and the Beast retelling, and it keeps my mind off sadder things while at work.

Various Webtoon Comics

I’ve fallen back in love with the app Webtoon, and I’ve spent inordinate amounts of time on it, reading various different comics. I’m currently trying to be patient and wait for some episodes to accumulate, but it’s hard.

WATCHING:

Ouran High School Host Club (Netflix)

This is still a re-watch and I’m once again reminded of how much I love this show. Supposedly a second season is finally coming out, so I have to refresh my memory. It’s also just so much fun and feel good and it takes no brain power to follow.

Falling Skies (HBO Max)

I forgot how solid this show is. I’m a sucker for dystopian SF and this show delivers that. I don’t watch this every night, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t sleep through some of the episodes, because I’ve been so tired.
