I accidently dozed off instead of writing this post, so here we are. I’m actually reading a few things and watching a few things. Maybe I’m falling back into a rhythm where shows and movies actually hold my interest! I actually watched a movie over the weekend, and it kept my attention the whole time.  

But let’s check out what I’m currently enjoying and let me know what you’re reading and writing as well.

READING:

Go the Distance – Jen Calonita

I’d meant to have my review up for this book today, but sleep overcame me, and I wasn’t able to push past the last little bit. I was exhausted. So far, I’m enjoying it, but I really never find these “Twisted Tales” all that twisted. It’s not the worst book I’ve read from this series, so that’s a good thing.

Pain – Jaymin Eve & Jane Washington

I’ve blown through this whole series, and now I’m on the final book. I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself once I finish it. I’ve really enjoyed this series and this might be the best book out of all of them. The MC has really come into herself and is a lot more likeable.

WATCHING:

A Week Away (Netflix)

Give me anything Summer Camp and I’m going to watch it and enjoy it. I didn’t realize going in that this takes place at what’s basically a Bible camp, but the music is pretty damn catchy. Some songs more than others, and overall, it’s just kind of cute and heartwarming.

Grey’s Anatomy (Live TV)

As much as I love this show, it needs to end. COVID really threw a wrench into show productions, but Grey’s was already sinking prior. It’s just clearly seriously faltering. I haven’t approved of much that’s happening on the show this season – except maybe the cameos of past beloved characters.

Men in Kilts (Starz)

If you’re not watching this, then you’re seriously missing out. I wish so much that these episodes were longer than 30 minutes, but sadly they’re not. Sam and Graham are hysterical and so much fun to watch. It’s so wholesome and it’s seriously making me want to go back to Scotland.
