A vicious demonic plot. A curse decades in the making. An epic love that burns hotter than the very fires of hell…

Charlotte…

All Charley’s nightmares are real.
Demons. Dark witches. Her murderous uncle.

With her soul bound to an ancient demon lord and her sister taken captive by a monster, hope is in short supply.

But Charley will not go down without a fight. Not when it comes to her sister, and not when it comes to the vampire king who’s claimed her heart.

Even if it means siding with a brutal enemy from her past.
Even if it means making a choice that will alter the course of her life… for eternity.

Dorian….

Dorian never wanted his father’s crown or the secrets that came with it.
He never wanted to fall in love with the seductive stranger he’d ravaged in a closet, either.

But fate had other plans.

Now, with the enemies of House Redthorne lurking in every shadow, demons threatening to destroy his city, and an ancient lord of hell laying claim on the woman who’s set Dorian’s very soul on fire, the vampire king has only one mission:

Burn. Them. All.

Even if it means betraying his father’s memory.
Even if it means making the darkest sacrifice of his immortal life…

Audible Library Update Sept’21

I’ve done two other Audible centered posts – I’ll make sure I link them, but it’s been a while. And I’ve added quite a few – well, honestly, a lot – new books. I remember when I used to only buy 1-2 books at a time or waited until I was almost done one to download a new read. But the number of books currently sitting in my library waiting to be read is a bit insane. Especially since right now, I’m doing nothing but re-reading/listening to the Throne of Glass Series. and I’ve been doing this for the last 3-4 weeks.

So, these other books are just sitting there waiting to be read. It’s a little a little depressing but I’m almost done with the TOG re-read, so I’ll get to them soon. I legit don’t know which one I’m going to read first, or if I’ll actually be able to choose. Because I want to listen to them all.

I also still have other books that I haven’t yet read, and I need to get to them as well. I legit have so many unread audiobooks in my library right now, it’s insane.

But I love having options, and I love Audible. I’m really lucky that I’m able to do my job and listen to books all day – honestly I think I would go insane if I couldn’t listen to books all day. It makes the hours pass so quickly and I just get to be lost in a fictional world for 6-8 hours.

So, let’s just jump in. But before I do, you can check out my Audible History – What I’ve Listened to post and my Audible TBR post. Continue reading “Audible Library Update Sept’21”

Royals of Arbon Academy Trilogy Review

Go read this trilogy.

Do it.

Fuck.

I loved this trilogy so much.

I need physical copies for my shelves.

I was actually quite pleasantly surprised by these books. Princess Ballot has been on my TBR for quite a while now, and I finally dove in. I saw that a fellow reader had recently read this and had given it a pretty high rating. Pairing that with I’m in a weird reading mood, I dove in. I went and downloaded the audiobook despite having a bunch already in my library waiting for me.

Then I promptly inhaled all three books and spiraled a bit.

*This is book one in a dark college romance. This is not a RH or traditional love triangle story, but it does include a-hole princes, nasty princesses, and one chick who will take none of their shit, all the while doing her best to make it out alive. HEA guaranteed. Eventually.

Not going to lie, I was expecting a typical NA college “bully” romance but make it Royal. But y’all, it was so much better. If we’re ticking boxes, then boxes were fucking ticked. Continue reading “Royals of Arbon Academy Trilogy Review”
