I still haven’t had a chance to read books 6 or 7 and it’s killing me. I fully intend on staying up and bingeing them while on holiday break from work. That’s only a week and a half out and the waiting is killing me.
I have so many concerns.
I have so many questions I need answers to.
And I have characters I need to see dead.
These reviews won’t be long, since at this point, anything and everything I want to talk about would be a spoiler. So they’re going to be a little more rant-y/stream of consciousness than other reviews.

Welcome back to a world where enemies and friends can be difficult to distinguish, where angels are deadly and demons desirable, and shadows of the past loom dark across the future. If you love kick-butt heroines, slow-burn romance, breathtaking action, and stories that leave you with a book hangover for days after you finish . . . you need to discover this dark and deadly series. Prepare to turn pages late into the night!

That is, until the Elf King unexpectedly arrives… for her.
Everything Luella had thought she’d known about her life, and herself, was a lie. Taken to a land filled with wild magic, Luella is forced to be the new queen to a cold yet blisteringly handsome Elf King. Once there, she learns about a dying world that only she can save.
The magical land of Midscape pulls on one corner of her heart, her home and people tug on another… but what will truly break her is a passion she never wanted.
